Chris began her professional journey as a Registered Nurse in the Coronary Care Unit at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Working in one of healthcare's most demanding clinical environments, she developed a deep and visceral understanding of the human element at the core of every healthcare interaction a perspective that has remained central to her leadership philosophy throughout her entire career.
That clinical foundation proved to be a powerful differentiator. Where others viewed marketing as a creative exercise, Chris understood it as a discipline of trust every message, campaign, and brand decision carries weight when the audience is patients navigating complex, life-defining health decisions.
Transitioning into marketing and communications leadership, Chris rose steadily through increasingly senior roles at Erlanger Health System, one of the region's largest and most complex healthcare organizations. As Senior Director and Chief Marketing Officer, she led organization-wide marketing, brand, and communications strategy directing executive communications frameworks for leadership, physicians, and board stakeholders while integrating digital, social, and content strategies that positioned Erlanger as a regional thought leader.
As Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, Chris directed enterprise-wide marketing, public relations, and brand strategy across the full multi-facility system. She implemented data-driven marketing frameworks that transformed campaign performance, optimized channel strategy, and supported executive decision-making at the highest organizational levels.
